I started out my musical journey as a classical saxophonist before becoming a full time vocalist and singing teacher, but choirs have always been a huge part of my life. Before I was confident enough to sing alone in front of people, the security of singing in a group meant I could let go without fear of embarrassment and gave me the opportunity to perform on stage without nearly as many nerves! When I moved to the UK after university, the first thing I did was join a choir and the support, joy and friendship that I earned almost immediately were completely invaluable to me.
Working with the Choir With No Name has been an absolute dream come true. Seeing the truly transformational power of music first-hand and seeing the real tangible difference that the choir has had on our members’ lives is just amazing. It uplifts and inspires me every week and I feel very lucky to be a part of it
