I just wanted to write to say how wonderful the Choir with No Name gig was last night, a magical evening and celebration of what is possible when people and music come together, just glorious. The feeling of warmth, support, spirit, and generosity emulating between the choirs and audience was just wonderful to be a part of.

LIVERPOOL One Heart - A concert for CommUNITY

One Heart: a concert for CommUNITY will bring people together through the unifying power of music. Taking place on June 19 at 6:30pm at Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral, this special concert celebrates solidarity, cultural diversity, and the resilient spirit of our communities.

One Heart is a declaration of shared hope. It’s a musical embrace of the rich tapestry of people and stories that make up Liverpool today.

The concert features performances from:

  • The Asylum Link Choir, a joyous group of asylum seekers who gather weekly to sing, support one another, and create something new from their lived experiences and diverse musical traditions.

  • The Choir with No Name Liverpool, whose members have experienced homelessness and social isolation. Their performances are uplifting, life-affirming, and a testament to the healing power of community and song.

  • St Edward’s College Choir, adding their voices to this evening of unity, representing the next generation’s commitment to compassion and inclusivity.

Hosting the evening will be acclaimed writer and proud Liverpudlian Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

One Heart tickets are priced at a suggested £5. It is free for refugees, people seeking asylum and those on low income. Doors open at 6:00pm.
