ABOUT THE CHOIR WITH NO NAME
The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. We were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good; it distracts you from all the nonsense in life and helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships. Each choir gets together to rehearse every week and share a meal together at the end of rehearsal. Our values are family, fun, inclusion and integrity.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Try not to use more than 300 words per question – thank you. Don’t feel you need to use the full word limit if you can answer more succinctly.
Why is the Choir with No Name London where you want to be, and why now?
Can you tell us about when you have supported or advocated for a vulnerable adult. What was the outcome, and would you have done anything different next time?
This is a varied and challenging role. It will be fun, but also sometimes difficult. You will have conflicting priorities, and you will need to address them within your part time hours. Can you tell us how you would meet the expectations of the role whilst being boundaried with your time.
As part of this role you will need to manage and support people who take on roles at choir. They will be volunteering their time. Can you let us know about how you would ensure they know what they should be doing, and they feel valued and enjoy taking part. Use examples of what you have done before, if that helps.
Scenario: You receive a call from a distressed member of the choir. They say another member has sent them threatening text messages. They don’t know why this has happened but want it to stop. What steps would you take to ensure everyone was safe and supported?
