We are thrilled to be back together with Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir at the annual Soul at St James event!

Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir is a choral group close to our hearts, in fact we practically share DNA; our founder, Marie, was once their musical director, both our stages have seen crossover of vocalists and musicians and SSGC's co-founder, Miko Giedroyc, even played piano at our very first rehearsal in 2008!

Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir have been unleashing gospel into wider communities outside of the church since 2005, they've performed all over the country and provided vocals for the likes of Mica Paris, Rambert Dance Company, KSI (Atlantic Records) and Roxanna Panufnik (Signum Records). Their mission is to simply: “spread a message of faith, hope, and love through contemporary gospel music; to create performances full of life-affirming joy and soulful celebration, collaborating with other artists and art forms; and to support and work with a diverse range of like-minded churches, charities, and communities.” We cannot wait to share the stage with them again!

This Soul at Saint James gig will be an immersive event, encompassing both a singing workshop hosted by CWNN's former London choir director and SSGC alumni, Liz Swain, as well as performances from both choirs. It's sure to be a fantastic afternoon filled with fun, delicious street food, a little spoken word, some of CWNN London's favourite songs and the sound of joyous gospel.
