CWNN Brighton's First Gig!

CWNN Brighton's Choir Manager Alex gives us the low down on the choir's inaugural performance...:

"Our first ever gig was a massive success!! We performed last night at the British Airways i360, in honour of BHT Sussex's 50th birthday.

The crowd was pretty big, about 300 people, consisting of BHT'S staff, volunteers, clients and friends from the local community.

And they really got down with it! Choir Director Freya got everyone joining in with our warm up, and within minutes, 300+ people were singing Dynamite by Tao Cruz along with our choir!

Then we went into our set, performed 20th Century Boyyyy by TRex, Good Vibrations by Beach Boys (4 part harmonies!!!) AND finished on Happy Together by The Turtles.

It sounded absolutely blinding, and all our choir members did an amazing job singing, dancing and bringing the audience along with us. By the time we took our bow and exited, the party had well and truly kicked off  :) Afterwards, we were lucky enough to FLY in the i360, and take in some amazing views of our city at night. It was an amazing experience.

Well done to all our members and volunteers, thank you to i360 and happy birthday to BHT.... And now...on to our Xmas gigs!!! ..."
