Singing, fortunately, is free. Most other things, unfortunately, aren't, and so any contribution you can make to the choir's costswould be hugely appreciated! We need the money for (among other things) food at rehearsals, to pay our members' travel expenses to gigs, to transport musicians and equipment, to pay for song sheets and to pay our staff.
Most amateur choirs are funded by charging their members 'subs'; a monthly subscription fee. Obviously for our members this would put the choir out of their price range, so we wondered if you would like to pay a member's subs for them? Giving money on a regular (and predictable) basis allows us to plan for the future instead of living in a hand-to-mouth sort of way, and helps us to sleep at night!
